For restless Oregonians, Providence Medford Medical Center now has a new sleep center. The center is committed to help patients who suffer with insomnia and experience symptoms that prevent a restful nights sleep.

The 2 bed sleep center will utilize computers to monitor your sleep habits, oxygen levels in the blood, and leg movements.

If you or a family member wake up several times in the night, short of breath, gasping for air or stop breathing? These are warning signs that you could have sleep apnea. Symptoms of sleep apnea also include snoring and frequent waking.

According to Providence Medical Sleep Center, sleep apnea is a very treatable condition. When treated, it can decrease your chances for hypertension, eliminate the chances for complications as well as improve overall health.
